From the Pastor

“But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.”

1 Peter 3:4

Beloved in Christ, as we begin this new liturgical year, the Christian Year of grace, we look forward to the coming of the new heavens and the new earth through the Second Advent of Christ our King. Thus we pray, “Adveniat regnam tuum!” Thy Kingdom Come. The Catechism instructs us that the Kingdom of God comes among us here and now when our heavenly Father gives us His Holy Spirit that we may believe His holy Word and lead godly lives both here in time and there in eternity.

Therefore, this year’s theme is called, “The Catechism of the Heart”, in which the discovery of the human heart in which the Spirit comes to dwell by faith is the beginning of our salvation as we heed the proclamation, “Repent for the Kingdom of the heavens draws near.”
